Spencer Studio is a local Ottawa photographers specializing in Business Photos and Corporate Headshots and are located in Ottawa Ontario. We have also been photographing and serving clients in Nepean, Barrhaven, Kanata, Stittsville, Richmond, Orleans and Manotick since 1980. We are located in the Nepean area between Merivale Road and Woodroffe Ave north of Hunt Club Road. (Map)
Robin Spencer is an Accredited Master Photographer and does your portraits personally. You will not get an assistant, student, part-timer or trainee.

Inside or outside, studio or location, in your boardroom or someplace downtown. We are a full service Ottawa photo studio offering quick turn around professional digital headshot images so you can get your updated corporate headshot up on your website or LinkedIn before you know it. We have a lot of business portrait clients in Ottawa, Nepean, Kanata, Orleans, Barrhaven and even beautiful Manotick.
Editing and Retouching are Included free on all finished photos (Not proofs). In order to produce Ottawa's best business portraits and corporate headshots we are happy to include portrait retouching to whiten teeth, soften lines and wrinkles, remove blemishes and stray hair. All of our finished headshots have been tweaked in Photoshop. Our goal is to make you look great but not overdo the retouching, we want you to look like you are having a great day without looking retouched. But of course the choice is always yours how far we go so if you have any special concerns just let us know.
Business photos and professional headshots are by appointment only
Yes we only work by appointment, most professional headshot clients just use our online calendar. Find a date and time that works for you and book yourself in. Our online calendar never sleeps or gets a day off so it is always available to you.
Yes, you can also phone or email for an appointment.
Free Parking and Client Comfort
We have free parking just a couple of feet from our front door. We have a washroom/change room at your disposal. Plus we have a bottle of the coolest, most delicious bottled water available anywhere, just for you. If I forget to offer you one, please remind me.

Studio Headshot Backdrops are included in the price and in your choice of gray, white, black or modern office.
Invisible Backgrounds are available as an upgrade (each). We offer PNG Files as an add on to most corporate headshot packages. These files have the background digitally extracted (removed) so you can place them on any background or colour you wish. They are usually used in offset printing or websites. NOTE PNG Files (Invisible Background) are only provided as one High Resolution PNG file. The social media files included will have a white background and in JPEG Format

24/7 Easy Online Convenience
Easy online booking, online viewing and online ordering for all of our professional headshots, business portrait and corporate headshot services.
We try to make it easy and convenient for you, so we offer several services online available to you 24/7 like online booking. After your photo session, you will be emailed a link and a password to view your proofs online. You can share your password with anyone you like or even share the gallery on Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest. You can take your time, select your favorite images and order your favorites online. After we have them professionally retouched and sized they will be sent to you directly or put in DropBox for you to download to your computer.

Yes times have changed, Tie or no tie? Your choice of course and it depends on your job and the industry you are in. But the basic principles of colour still apply. We are happy to give you a few free basic tips "What to Wear For Your Business Portrait" Feel free to bring a couple, yes a couple (not seventeen outfits please) and we will take a look for you and give you some helpful advice if you want it. In general, your face and expression should be the most important element of the photo and we don't want clothes or colours detracting from that so think solid colours, keep jewelry simple and keep in mind that dark colours have a slimming effect. But of course, this all depends on the image you are trying to project.

With so many photographers out there it's the national and international awards, recognition and accreditations from our peers through professional photographers associations and professional photography competitions and also the People's Choice and Viewer's Choice awards that separate us from many of the other professional photographers in Ottawa.
While I recognize that it's my lighting and posing skills that are responsible for multiple national and international professional photography awards. Clients tell us we make them feel relaxed and at ease in front of our camera.
My proudest achievement is a Paul Harris Fellowship presented to me by Rotary International in recognition of my community and international service. Whether it's volunteering my photography skills to some local charities, or running portrait promotions to buy wheelchairs for the third world to fund a well in Africa I have always felt a personal and corporate responsibility to help where I can, in my small way.
